Folks interested in a tweep/LSW dinner/drinks/shenanigans are welcome to gather near the registration desk Saturday 6:00 pm ish. An all-call will be sent via twitter.

If you're going to ALA and want to be on the California Dreaming Team, go to that page for details!

LSW ribbons: We are thinking of bringing back the ribbons that were handed out at CiL (Josh's badge). However, this will cost money. Please post below if you are willing to pledge to cover the cost of printing/shipping them. Thanks!

UPDATE 5/16 - Katie has priced out some options, and pending one call back on Monday, it looks like the cheapest option will be one local to her for about $100 before taxes for 250 ribbons with a turnaround date of 3 weeks. They could potentially be obtained prior to SLA, but it would be cutting it really close, and probably more would need to be ordered as 250 will probably go like hotcakes at ALA. Post here before Monday (5/19) thoughts on quantity and if those going to SLA would like to still chip in for this option.

5/18: Katie - for ALA, I'd do 250 - yeah, they'll go fast, but perhaps better to have too few than to have oodles left over. I'm not sure how many people even go to SLA - hopefully at least one of the folks attending there will check in here.

5/19: i'm still game to contribute to the big pool o'ribbons, with fingers crossed that some arrive in time for SLA. 250 sounds good to me. *amy

5/19: I'm also still game to pitch in, but if you think 250 will vanish at ALA, we need at least 100 more for SLA! Can we double it? (I'd double my contribution.) Am sure any leftovers could be put to good use at IL in Monterey in the fall! --Ruth

5/19: based on Ruth's response, I'll change my earlier - it's not as if they'll go bad, like milk (though now I have hilarious mental image of badges with fangs and such). Laura

5/19: 350 ribbons have been ordered and are officially due back on 6/9. Cross your fingers they get in early and I'll send 75-100 Ruth's way for SLA. ~Katie

5/20: Katie, you rock! Thanks tons and let me know (ruth dot kneale at gmail) where to send how much $$, and I'll send you my snailmail for delivery! --Ruth

5/20: Amazing - thank you! Let me know where to send you the cashola (amybuckland at the gmail). YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! *amy

5/20: yay for Katie - and yep, let me know how much to send/where to send or if you'd rather have cash at annual - Laura

UPDATE 6/3: The ribbons have arrived. A batch has been sent out to Ruth for distribution at SLA and I will be contacting those who said they wanted to contribute to the purchase to verify they're still interested in doing so later this week.

~Katie
